This hand-built vessel is shaped from dark stoneware and finished with gestural sweeps of white slip that catch and emphasize its textured surface. Rising to a narrow neck with softly crimped edges, the form is balanced by two wide, looped handles that meet the body with small ringed joins—offering both strength and expressive movement.
Measuring approximately 9” tall and 6.5” wide from handle to handle, the vessel carries the quiet authority of an ancient relic. Its ridged surface, raw finish, and slight asymmetries are intentional—each mark a record of the hand that formed it.
